We got in the holiday spirit a little early when we invited our friends from around the University of Regina to join us for drinks, food and fun at the Owl on Dec. 16th. We chatted it up as we classed it up, enjoying some stimulating conversation while indulging in some delectable delicacies. Guests got to try fine fare like Prosciutto-wrapped Prunes stuffed with Gorgonzola, Smoked Salmon Puffed Pastries, and Szechuan Chicken Skewers. Not to mention Mini Beef Wellington, Caprese Gorgonzola skewers, Bacon-wrapped Jalapeño Poppers, Mini Sheppard’s Pie Potato Skins and Frog’s Legs with a Honey Szechuan Sauce…that’s right Frog’s Legs (so fancy!)

We were joined by members of the URSU Board of Directors and visitors from the University of Regina Executive Team including Dr. Vianne Timmons, President and Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Thomas Chase, Provost and Vice-President (Academic); Dave Button, Vice-President (Administration); and Dr. David Malloy, Vice-President (Research).

We want to thank those who came by for visit and we hope everyone’s holidays are filled with friends, family and fun….oh and food, can’t forget that!
